The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities has granted funding to ProtoQSAR for the development of two projects through two different aid lines.
During the first week of June, the first summer school of the European project PROTECTED was held in the British city of Belfast, and all students of the project attended.
Final resolution of the Horizon-CV and Plans for the internationalization calls
The first international workshop of the LIFE-COMBASE project will take place on October 19th, 2017 at the Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri (IRFMN) in Milan, Italy. The main results of the project to date will be described,and several speakers representing regulatory agencies- such as EFSA- and research institutions in the knowledge areas of QSAR and non-testing methods will participate. This workshop has been organized as a networking event for stakeholders in the value chain of biocides, including industries, regulatory bodies and research institutions. The ProtoQSAR project “Computational screening and experimental validation of ecological pesticides against the plague HLB of citrus fruits (ECO-PEST)” has been one of the 23 selected by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) for its financing through the program of Creation of Technology-Based Companies (CREATEC-CV).
ProtoQSAR has been selected by the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) to finance its business plan through the NEOTEC 2016 program. The objective of NEOTEC is to help to the start-up of new innovative companies that require the use of techniques or knowledge developed to from their research activity.
On March 28th was held in Valencia (Spain) the Technical Conference “NanoDesk – Advanced web-based tools to promote the application of nanotechnology and the safe use of nanomaterials in the plastics industry”, organized by ITENE as coordinating entity of the NanoDesk project .
The launching of the H2020-MSCA project “PROTECTED” took place on the 6th and 7th of February.ProtoQSAR has organized this event, which was held in the Board Room of the Scientific Park of the University of Valencia (Spain). This project is funded through the prestigious H2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), to promote academic-industrial collaboration within the framework of an innovative doctoral program.
