The Spanish Association of Toxicology has organized its XXII Spanish Congress and VI Ibero-American, which has taken place in the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Valencia. Conferences, round tables, oral and poster communications have provided a forum that facilitates a safer and healthier environment through the advancement of science and the increased impact of Toxicology.
ProtoQSAR has participated as a sponsor of the session devoted to alternative methods in Toxicology. In addition, our team member Sergi Gómez gave a talk entitled “Application of computational methods in predictive toxicology and its regulatory validity”, in which the different in silico methodologies for the prediction of toxicological and ecotoxicological parameters were exposed, as well as the conditions required by regulatory entities for regulatory acceptance, especially in the case of the REACH regulation.
