The CEEIs of the Valencian Community, the Network of Technological Institutes of the Valencian Community (REDIT) and the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI) have held at the headquarters of the Valencian Business Confederation (CEV) an informative day about the NEOTEC 2017 call. NEOTEC is a Spanish program to facilitate access to financing support to technology-based companies, which this year is provided with 20 million euros.
Nearly 100 entrepreneurs participated in this conference, in which Laurentia Technologies and ProtoQSAR-two companies supported by CEEI-Valencia- had the opportunity to present their experience as beneficiaries of the NEOTEC Program. The presentation of ProtoQSAR was carried out by its director, Rafael Gozalbes, who explained to the audience the main characteristics of the NEOTEC project in which the company is involved, and specifically the technological platform for the evaluation by computer methods of the parameters required by the regulations REACH. Rafael also commented the experience of ProtoQSAR in the NEOTEC program, and was part of the round table that was held to end the day, in which together with Jesús Casanova (General Director of CEEI-Valencia), Sergio Muñoz (CEO of Laurentia Technologies ) and María José Tomás and Raúl García (both representatives of the Directorate of Promotion and Cooperation of CDTI) answered the questions of the attendees.
