ProtoQSAR joins the 4th Annual Meeting of ONTOX
From April 23 to 24, the 4th Annual Meeting of the European project ONTOX was held at IIS La Fe in Valencia. This year, the focus was on designing effective strategies for developing tools applicable to Probability Risk Assessment.
Under the theme “Let’s Talk About Data!”, the event was structured as an interactive workshop. Participants, grouped into multidisciplinary teams, discussed how to implement a functional and impactful workflow to ensure the practical success of ONTOX beyond the project’s lifetime.

ASPIS Academy Summer School 2025: Training the future of toxicology
On April 25, the ASPIS Academy Summer School 2025 also took place at La Fe Hospital, bringing together young researchers from across Europe under the same motto: “Let’s Talk About Data!”.
This summer school offered practical sessions on essential skills to advance New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and the future of regulatory science:
We especially highlight the participation of our colleague Laureano E. Carpio, Senior Researcher and Head of Communications at ProtoQSAR. He delivered an engaging session on how to translate scientific language into clear, accessible messages for the general public. The session included a hands-on activity, where participants applied practical tools to improve science communication in social media, media outlets, and public events.
