Welcome to a new edition of “Meet the Team”!

Today, we invite you to get to know Laura Marí Navarro, project manager at ProtoQSAR.

Laura MaríHer background

Laura Marí has a strong foundation in management, holding an advanced vocational qualification in Administration and Finance, a diploma in Tourism, and a postgraduate degree in Hospitality Management. Although she doesn’t come from a research background, her experience has focused on areas such as financial management, human resources, occupational risk prevention, logistics, and customer service.

Her role at ProtoQSAR

At ProtoQSAR, Laura works as a Project Manager. Her main responsibilities include overseeing calls for proposals, managing deadlines, costs, and justifications. She also assists in personnel management, covering aspects such as occupational risk prevention, development plans, and holidays. What motivates her the most is contributing to project coordination and diving into all the organizational details they entail.

Her hobbies and reccomendations

Laura enjoys the peace of both the mountains and the beach—especially when she can get away in her camper van. She loves outdoor activities such as hiking, Pilates, spinning, and occasionally, bodyboarding.

Among her recommendations are several songs, including “Hoy” by Los de Marras, “Tobogan” and “Estiu” by Zoo, and “Alma Guerrera” by Boikot. She also loves literature and recommends the book Acontece que no es poco by Nieves Concostrina, along with the podcast of the same name. And when it comes to series, she’s a fan of Ozark, 30 Coins, The Man in the High Castle, and many more.
